Challenges of rivers

NEW ! Challenges of rivers, an educational kit with activities for teachers and pupils to help them understand all about rivers.

Designed to fit in with school curricula from CE2 to CM2 (or even 6ème), these fun and educational sheets are ready to use for teachers.

Challenges content

For each of 10 Challenges (1 Challenge = 1 sheet), find up to 3 activities !

Adapted program :

  • you can choose to complete all the challenges/activities, or focus on just a few
  • you can do them in the order that suits you best (although we’ve arranged them in a logical order)
  • you can use them according to your own schedule, with no time constraints!
  • for some challenges, you can create variations to suit the specific constraints of your class, school or region
  • you can use them as part of the “Adopt Your River” program, or independently!

For an example, download the Challenge 2 HERE.

Challenges uses

How to use the Challenges ?

It’s very simple, just fill in a form HERE before June 15. You’ll then receive a download link to the 1st Challenges by the end of June.

If you wish, you can use the same form to sign up for the “Adopt your River” twinning program.

At the end of each Challenge, teachers will be invited to send us (by e-mail) their pupils’ achievements. At the end of each year, a newsletter will be sent out to highlight the various achievements.

Rivers Challenge

A challenge will be offered to the most involved classes, with prizes for the students (diplomas, gifts for the classes,… more information to come).

Take part in the community challenge!

Once again, it’s easy! Points are awarded for each activity completed. More or fewer points will be awarded according to the difficulty of implementation or the importance of the subject.

The table of points awarded for each activity in each Challenge will soon be available HERE.

The 3 classes with the most points at the end of the school year will be awarded committed gifts (no plastic, but gifts related to literature and rivers).

Don’t worry, if your time is limited, you don’t have to take part in the challenge to use the Challenges.

For those who wish, a closing videoconference will be held at the end of the school year for all participating classes to take stock of each other’s achievements and award prizes to the most dynamic classes.
