LWR 2025 Labeling
Following the call for initiatives launched in January 2025, 52 projects were awarded the Living With Rivers 2025 label !
Many thank you and congratulations to all the organizations who submitted their applications. Their participation demonstrates a genuine commitment by local stakeholders to working for the benefit of water, rivers, and communities, both in France and internationally.
The LWR label allows selected projects to benefit from networking opportunities, sharing of expertise, communication support, connections with potential sponsors (depending on opportunities) through the IAGF endowment fund, and a financial grant for the three laureates projects.
For 2025, the 3 laureates are :
- Rivers of Sofia led by The Collective Foundation
- Protection of water sources in the Wiwa communities of the Badillo river, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta led by Tchendukua Ici et Ailleurs
- Hydroliennes fluviales pour améliorer l’accès aux services essentiels en zone rurale led by Potamaï-242
The jury also awarded a “Coup de pouce” prize to the association GRDR Migration Citoyenneté Développement for it project Kisal Diiwan Falémé for a preserved area of Falémé.
