LWR 2026 Labeling
Following the call for initiatives launched in December 2025, 52 projects were awarded the Living With Rivers 2026 label !
Many thank you and congratulations to all the organizations who submitted their applications. Their participation demonstrates a genuine commitment by local stakeholders to working for the benefit of water, rivers, and communities, both in France and internationally.
The LWR label allows selected projects to benefit from networking opportunities, sharing of expertise, communication support, connections with potential sponsors (depending on opportunities) through the IAGF endowment fund, and a financial grant for the three laureates projects.
For 2026, the 3 laureates are :
- AGIRE project in the Namsa basin led by Comité de Coopération avec le Laos
- Mapping Mangroves led by SEED
- Supporting indigenous-led watershed stewardship in Northern Ontario led by Wildlife Conservation Society Canada
