THE FLOW – Grand Festival Fluvial de la Seine Aval

Le Flux is a citizen movement and an annual river festival that transforms the Seine downstream (from Meudon to Rueil-Malmaison, centered on La Défense) into a lively scene of celebration, culture, sport and ecological transition. Born from a ten-year vision, The Flow reconnects urban populations to their river through immersive experiences, collective journeys, artistic installations, temporary villages and business transformation programs.

The 2027 edition (July 8–11) marks the first major step on a trajectory toward 2030: 3.5 days of festivities involving more than 15 riverside municipalities, 180,000 La Défense employees, 100+ public and private partners, and thousands of citizens organized into “tribes” co-creating works on rafts, sustainable events and new river practices.

The Flow makes the rebirth of the Seine tangible and public, moving from strategic relationships to lived experiences, while respecting existing practices through in-depth collaboration with river professionals (Port Community of Paris, VNF, actors of river transport) who co-design the project.
