POPSU Transitions action-research program on river and port metropolises (Lyon, Strasbourg, and Rouen) – led by the Université Lyon 3 and the Métropole de Lyon

The POPSU Transitions action-research program on river and port metropolises (Lyon, Strasbourg, Rouen) led by the Université Lyon 3 and the Métropole de Lyon is a project that provides an opportunity to compare uses and share thoughts on rivers. (Rhône, Saône, Rhin et Seine), in the context of the ecological transition and adaptation to climate change. Through three seminars addressing different themes, the river and port metropolises are invited to exchange, be inspired, equip themselves and project themselves to better understand the evolutionary management of their respective rivers. A commented cartographic atlas will illustrate the relevant points of comparison between these three metropolises, reflecting three years of discussions, sharing, and river innovation among operational actors. (local authorities-elected officials-technicians, UrbaLyon, Mixed Unions, CNR, VNF, EDF, Associations) and researchers (Sorbonne University, INSA Strasbourg, CNRS – Lyon 3 University, ENS de Lyon).
