Fluctuations, bringing out desirable futures

This project is supported by “SMMMILE”. Fluctuations is an itinerant festival along the rivers of Europe, which mobilizes through the festival around issues of ecology, social justice and democracy.

The project is based on a strong conviction: art, music, collective action and joy can open spaces for meeting, awareness and commitment. Through festivals, citizens’ assemblies, performances, workshops and reflection time, Fluctuations brings together artists, residents, researchers, associations and local actors around issues related to water.

At the rhythm of rivers, Fluctuations proposes another relationship to time and territories, and brings out new positive and desirable narratives.

By placing waterways at the heart of the map, the project considers them not as borders, but as links between places, audiences and imaginations.
