Electrification of the Vedettes de Paris

Vedettes de Paris proposes a more virtuous form of river tourism :

“To reduce our impact on the environment, our project is to electrify 80% of our boat fleet, i.e. 4 out of 5 boats. Our first boat, the Paris Trocadéro, has been electrified since the end of 2023. Two other boats are in the process of being electrified, to be operational before the 2024 Olympic Games. Finally, the fourth boat will be electrified during the winter of 2024/2025. The switch from internal combustion engines to electric motors for 4 out of 5 units will save 1,244 tonnes of CO2 equivalent, or 161 times the distance circumnavigated by an internal combustion car.

Although electrification is one of our biggest projects, both in financial terms and in terms of reducing our environmental impact, we are actively involved in all aspects of our business through strong commitments : adapting our activities in line with planetary limits while guaranteeing the quality of our products and services, ensuring social cohesion and reconciling people with nature.
