Production and distribution of a game about the River Niger for schools in the four countries through which the river flows

“Au fil du Fleuve Niger” is a game developed by the Karama association, which provides schooling for children living on the islands and banks of the River Niger in Bamako, and works to promote sustainable environmental management in Mali. It is intended for all adults, teachers and organizers wishing to raise young people’s awareness of the issues surrounding the River Niger and the need to respect this precious resource. It is presented as a board game, with questions and challenges. The board game, designed in 2023-2024, has so far been printed in just 5 copies (printed in Mali, to contribute to the local economy).

The challenge now is to ensure its distribution by deploying 50 games in the 4 countries involved (Guinea, Mali, Niger, Nigeria). The challenge is also to raise awareness of the game within organizations in order to distribute it widely, by promoting partnerships.
