The practical case of the Saint Laurence River at the heart of the international exchanges of Initiatives for the Future of Great Rivers (IFGR)

At the end of the second IFGR session, held from 18 to 20 April at the head office of the Montreal Port Administration (APM), the Chairman of the observatory, Erik Orsenna, presented the syntheses of the works that displayed the variety of uses to which the river is put and the need for their acceptance.

First meetings of Initiatives for the Future of Great Rivers: rivers, contributors to energy transition and to the COP21

At the end of the first session of the IFGR held from 13 to 15 October in Lyon, Erik Orsenna, the Chairman of this international multidisciplinary observatory, presented the first initiatives to make rivers strong levers for energy transition and the combat against climate change.
