The watchmen of the river

This project is carried by “Huit Production”. This is a documentary film project, entirely devoted to a river: the Seine, in its Parisian part:

I am about to cross the Île-de-France by rowing.

Kayaking down the Seine to try to better understand the river, its history, its landscapes and what is at stake here and now for its future.

What are the pressures weighing on its ecosystem? How can we envisage another relationship with living organisms?

The film sails along the water to meet those who watch the river, whether they are mariners, historians, activists, or simple dreamers. An invitation to renew our relationship with the river.
