These waves that connect us

Toutes les initiatives

This project is supported by “L’antre lieux”. These waves that connect us aim to recreate links between the inhabitants, the Rhone and the Durance, rivers steeped in history, often ignored in everyday life, but essential in the landscape and collective memory of Provence.

The Rhône, the Durance which welcome our itinerancy and our stops are not just a river or a river; they are a territory of confluence where stories, memories and identities meet. These rivers, both a source of life and witnesses to centuries of transformation, become a place where not only the past but also the contemporary challenges we face: climate change, the ecological crisis, and the need to rethink our links with the environment.

Poetry, in this context, becomes much more than an artistic expression: it is a carrier of meaning and reflection on our common future. It becomes the support of contemporary realities, it invites discussions on environmental and societal issues, while reconnecting with the deep roots of our territory.

Through poetry, we question our relationship to the Rhône, to water, to nature, and how these elements shape our existence and our future.
