4th International Conference I.S. Rivers

From July 4 to 8 in Lyon, participate to the 4th International Conference I.S. (Interactive Sciences) Rivers, supported by the association Le Graie. Composed as a time for exchange, the event will host specialized workshops aimed at sharing river management and restoration practices around the world, in a research-action dynamic.

Mr. Erik Orsenna will speak at the plenary session on Tuesday, July 5.

World Water Forum

For its 9th edition, the World Water Forum will be held for the first time in Sub-Saharan Africa, hosted by the Republic of Senegal, which is organizing it with the World Water Council.

IFGR will be present at this major meeting of the international water community, conceived this year as a Forum of solutions to make water security a vector of peace and development.

One Ocean Summit

A major international conference on the Ocean is being organized at the initiative of the President of the French Republic in Brest from 9 to 11 February 2022. This first One Ocean Summit aims to give a strong political impetus to the European and international agenda of maritime issues and to translate our shared responsibility for the Ocean into concrete actions.

As rivers and the ocean form a single ecosystem, essential to life, Initiatives for the Future of Great Rivers will be represented throughout the Summit by Erik Orsenna, its Chairman, to give a voice to the rivers.
